Take the A1231 (signposted Washington/Sunderland) heading towards Sunderland city centre along Wessington Way (following signs for SAFC/Stadium of Light) and continue straight ahead for two/three miles towards the A1290 Keir Hardie Way and the stadium. At the Stadium of Light, turn right at the mini roundabout (Hilton Garden Inn is located to the right) then continue straight ahead at the second mini roundabout (past SAFC Club Store). Free car parking is available here (apart from on match days). At the next junction turn right then an immediate left onto Hay Street. Turn right onto Richmond Street and Sheepfolds Stables is straight ahead.

From St Michael's Way, head towards the Wearmouth Bridge and immediately after crossing the river, turn left at St Peters Metro Station. Continue under bridge and take the first right onto Hay Street (a pay and display car park is available here). Take the second left onto Richmond Street and Sheepfolds Stables in straight ahead.

Please note - there are exciting new developments taking place all around Sheepfolds Stables currently, therefore due to to ongoing construction works, we strongly advise visitors to park at the Stadium of Light (free) or at designated car parks. Both are only a few minutes' walk away. Parking at the Stadium of Light is not available on home match days.
